વાતરક્ત(ગંભીર) Avascular Necrosis

AVASCULAR NECROSIS-ગંભીર્‍ વાતરકત અંતર્ગત સમાવેશ થાય તેવા અન્ય વ્યાધિઓ જેવા કે Gout,Raynaud’s disease,SLE(systemic lupus erythomatus),vasculitis ઉપરાંત Avascular Necrosis નો પણ વાતરક્ત માં સમાવેશ કરી શકાય.
મહર્ષિ ચરકે ચિકિ.અ.29 માં વાતરક્ત ના નિદાન-લક્ષણ-ચિકિત્સા દર્શાવેલ છે.

પ્રકાર:- 1.ઉતાન
2.ગંભીર

નિદાન :-વ્યહવાર માં અધિક જોવા મળતા નિદાન 1. કટુ-અમ્લ-લવણ રસ પ્રધાન ભોજન 2. વિરુધ્ધાશન 3. મિષ્ટાન્ન 4.અભિઘાત 5.અધિક પરિશ્રમ

ગંભીર વાતરક્તના લક્ષણો:- Common site-Neck of femur 1.સ્તબ્ધ-કઠિનશોથ-Stiff and hard odema 2.તીવ્ર શૂલ-Severe pain 3. દાહ- Burning sensation
4. તોદ-prikingpain 5. પાક-Suppuration of joint 6. અસ્થિ-સન્ધિ-મજ્જામાં છેદાતુ હોય તેવી વેદના
7. ખંજતા-એક પગે લંગડાવુ 8. પંગુતા-બંને પગે અપંગતા આવવી

ઉપદ્ર્વ-Complication
1. કોથ –Osteonecrosis
2. પાંગુલ્ય-Lameness

ચિકિત્સાસુત્ર:- સામાન્ય ચિકિત્સા (1) સ્નેહન
(2)સ્નેહ યુક્ત વિરેચન (3)બસ્તિકર્મ

વિશેષ ચિકિત્સા-
(1)સ્નેહપાન (2)વિરેચન
(3)આસ્થાપન બસ્તિ મહર્ષિ ચરકે ગંભીર વાતરકત ની ચિકિત્સા માટે શ્રેષ્ટતમ યોગો દર્શાવેલ છે.પર્ંતુ હાલ્ ની ફાર્મસીઓ આ યોગો બનાવતી ન હોઇ સરળ યોગ નુ અત્રે નિદર્શન કરેલ છે.સરકારી આયુર્વેદ હોસ્પિટલ આંકલાવ ખાતે જોવા મળેલ Avascular necrosis ના 4 દર્દીઓમાં આ ઔષધ યોગો ના પ્રયોગ તથા પથ્યપાલન થી લાભ મળેલ છે.avscular necrosis એક અસાધ્ય રોગ છે.આ ઔષધ પ્રયોગ થી શૂલ માં રાહત થાય છે.

(1) સ્નેહ્પાનાર્થ – ગુડુચી ઘ્રુત-20 મિલિ પ્રાતકાલે ક્ષીર સાથે જે શમન યોગ ઉપરાંત વિરેચન પૂર્વ સ્નેહ્ પાનાર્થ આપી શકાય છે.

(2) ક્ષીર પ્રયોગ- -ગુડુચી સિધ્ધ ક્ષીર -ક્ષીર-ઘ્રુત-સાકર-મધ નો પ્રયોગ
-પિપ્પલી-સૂઠી સાધિત ક્ષીર

(3) વિરેચનાર્થ યોગ- -દૂધ સાથે એરંડ તેલ નો પ્રયોગ શ્રેષ્ટ પ્રયોગ છે આ પ્રયોગ દરમ્યાન દર્દી ને દૂધ-ભાત પર રાખવો. -ત્રિફલા કવાથ પ્રાતઃકાલે

(4) વટી- -સંશમની વટી – 2 t.d.s
(5) ગૂગળ-
-કૈશોર ગૂગળ – 2 t.d.s
(6) બાહ્ય પ્રયોગ- -પિંડ તેલ થી અભ્યંગ

Avscular necrosis

WHAT IS AVASCULAR NECROSIS (VATRAKTA - GAMBHIR TYPE)
Avascular necrosis (also referred to as aseptic necrosis or osteonecrosis) is a disease that results from poor blood supply to an area of bone causing bone death.
This is condition because the dead areas of bone do not function normally, are weakened and collapse.Common site-Neck of femur.
Pain associated with avascular necrosis is often severe and unrelenting.

What causes
(1) Avascular necrosis can be caused by trauma and damage to the blood vessels and that supply bone its oxygen.
(2) Poor blood circulation to the bone include an embolism of air or fat that blocks flow through the blood vessels, abnormally thick blood and vasculitis.

What conditions are associated with AV
(1) Alcoholism
(2) Steroid usage
(3) SLE-systemic lupus eythematosus
(4) Gaucher’s disease
